On February 11, 2014, the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Alumni Associations, Inc. (FFCAAI) held its induction ceremony at the Century Seafood Restaurant where Manila mayor Joseph E. Estrada stood as the guest of honor. Hundreds of alumni from the different Chinese schools graced the event. The new officers of the FFCAAI paraded into the ballroom and were inducted by Mr. Cristino Lim of St. Stephen’s High School. Mr. George Go of St. Stephen’s High School, the new president of FFCAAI, delivered his acceptance speech to express his gratitude and expectations towards the organization. Several distinguished guests also delivered their respective congratulatory messages.
The Saint Jude Catholic School Alumni Association (SJCSAA) was represented by the incumbent board members led by president Liza Yao-Bate, vice-presidents Stephen Yu and Charles Kohchet-Chua, past president (PP) Richard Cuan as well as PP Mike Tan who is also a founding member of the FFCAAI. Other board members and alumni in attendance included Stella Maleen Chua, Victor Cua, Edwin Ong, Grant Cheng and Jehan Sia-Li. Rev. Fr. Peter Li also joined the SJCSAA in the celebrations. Rest assured that the SJCSAA community will continuously pour out its support for the betterment of the organization.
